Windows are installed from both the inside and the outside of the home to ensure proper fit, weather sealing, insulation, and a clean finished appearance.

Do you install replacement windows year-round? If so, will I lose a lot of heat/cooling at the time of installation?

Yes. Our crews install year-round and follow best practices to reduce exposure to outdoor temperatures, including working one window at a time, staging materials in advance, and isolating rooms when needed.

Where should I keep my dogs during the installation?

We love pets! During installation, homeowners may use their discretion to keep pets in a safe, comfortable area away from active work zones to ensure everyone’s safety.

What should I do to prepare my home for replacement windows?

No extensive preparation is required. Our team is trained to work efficiently and respectfully in your home, making the process easy from start to finish.

What protocols are in place for a clean installation area?

Our installers follow strict cleanliness protocols, including the use of heavy-duty moving blankets, furniture tarps, and runway and stair coverings to protect floors, furnishings, and surrounding spaces during installation.

How long does it take to get replacement windows?

Replacement windows typically take anywhere from 8–14 weeks from order to install, depending on product selection and manufacturer lead times.

How long is the average installation process for windows?

In most cases, installations take 1–2 days. Larger projects or specialty products may take a bit longer.

Is there a warranty available for my windows?

Absolutely. Your installation is covered by a one-year workmanship warranty. In addition, each manufacturer provides its own product warranty—ranging from limited to lifetime—which we review and provide to you with your paperwork.

Where do my old windows go? Can I keep them?

We make every effort to recycle old windows whenever possible. If you would like to keep them, just let us know—we’ll neatly stack them in a designated area at your home.

What if there is a problem with a replacement window?

Should any issues arise, our service department will respond promptly and guide you through the resolution process.
